DJ KHALED GIFTS HIS SON ASAHD CUSTOM AIR JORDANS WORTH $100,000 FOR HIS 7TH BIRTHDAY

DJ Khaled goes the extra mile for his children and he made sure Asahd had a special seventh birthday with a pair of custom Air Jordans.

Khaled revealed the candid moment Asahd opened up the care package courtesy of Michael Jordan himself and Jordan Brand’s Reggie Saunders on Sunday (October 22).

“HAPPY B DAY MY SON @asahdkhaled ! I love you so much me and mommy so proud of u,” he wrote. “My son was born OCT 23 ! We celebrating today a day early and we celebrating everyday ! Everyday is your b day @asahdkhaled ! THANK YOU GOD ! Thank you @realpdxreg @jumpman23.”

Khaled said in the clip: “These are very exclusive. I talked tо Michael Jоrdan and I talked tо uncle Reg and they made it happen. Yоu ready? Happy birthday… The satin with yоur name оn it. The satin pair оf Jay’s are the 1’s. Lооk at this.”

The gifts didn’t stop there as a basketball signed by Michael Jordan arrived at the Khaled residence doorstep shortly after.

The We The Best mogul then posted a slideshow of photos from Khaled’s Nintendo Switch-themed birthday party as he was surrounded by friends and family playing basketball, bowling and more.

Birthday wishes poured into DJ Khaled’s comment section for Asahd from the likes of Busta Rhymes and more.

DJ Khaled and Air Jordan have a tight-knit relationship with the superproducer collaborating with the apparel giant on an array of kicks. Earlier this month, Khaled claimed his Salmon-flavored We The Best Air Jordan 5’s are the best-selling Air Jordan collaboration in the brand’s illustrious history.

“The We The Best 5s, the Jоrdan 5s, was the biggest release number-wise in Jоrdan-cоllabоratiоn histоry,” he said. “Dо yоur research and get tо it ASAP. We’re talking numbers. Because when I put these оut and the Cоcоnuts, I wanted tо make sure we did a wоrldwide thing.”

He continued: “And we did it big. Any Jordan release is gonna be the biggest, [but] I was just excited to make history for my first sneaker release.”

Backing up his claims, Complex found a clip where Jordan’s VP of Entertainment Marketing, Reggie Saunders, confirmed what Khaled said.

“This is the largest launch of any collaborator we’ve ever worked with,” Saunders stated in the clip.
