Diddy and Nicki Minaj teamed up for the remix of “Hello Good Morning” in January 2010, but the rapper from Queens recently confessed that at that time, Puff might not have been too pleased with her. The 40-year-old artist admitted to arriving late at his son Justin Combs’ sweet 16 birthday party, where she was his date, and she believed that Brother Love was upset with her for her tardiness.

Minaj asked Combs during a recent Instagram Live session, “What was it like for me to be your Sweet Sixteen date? I know I was seriously late, and my memory of the event is a bit hazy, but I had this strong feeling that Puffy and Misa were really angry with me.” Misa Hylton is Combs’ mother and the ex of the Bad Boy founder.

“I could sense their disappointment, and I was really frustrated with myself because I hated every single dress I had tried on earlier that day,” she explained, revealing the reason for her delay. “I felt terrible, really terrible. But to this day, I can’t believe I attended his Sweet Sixteen with him. He said it was an unforgettable experience.
