Rick Ross asserts that he is only “a year away” from becoming the next billionaire in hip-hop.

From releasing Hood Billionaire in 2014 to naming his kid Billion four years later, Rick Ross has been using the term “billion” in his vocabulary for a while now. He now claims to be close to reaching that net worth.

Rozay has already declared himself to be a billionaire and discussed functioning at a level involving billions of dollars. The Miami rapper revealed on his Instagram Stories on Tuesday, November 7, that he is just a little distance away from truly achieving that rank.

He entered the billionaire debate earlier this year with one of the most controversial businessmen in America. The Biggest Bawse used social media in the middle of September to flaunt his gleaming black and gold private jet, which was parked close to former president Donald Trump’s plane.

Similar insignia to Ross’s, but in red, white, and blue—a reference to the American flag—were seen on the politician’s aircraft. It was also impossible to overlook the size difference between Trump’s aircraft and the MMG mogul’s.

Claiming to be a member of the billionaire boys’ club, Ross captioned a photo on Instagram with the hashtag “Billionaires Row [champagne toast emoji].”

Although his wealth has not been confirmed, current estimates place his net worth between $100 and $150 million. He would be the fourth Hip Hop artist to reach that milestone, behind Diddy, Kanye West, and JAY-Z.

Ye lost the title last year when Adidas ended their lucrative Yeezy deal because of his antisemitic remarks. Ye was once the richest rapper alive. His net worth fell to almost $400 million after the transfer from $1.5 billion.
