Travis Scott Admits He Constantly Reflects on the Astroworld Tragedy

Travis Scott has commented on the lingering thoughts of the devastating fatalities that occurred at his Astroworld festival in 2021.

A catastrophic crush occurred during Travis Scott’s performance at the Astroworld festival in November of that year, leading to the unfortunate demise of eight individuals.

Following this, in the days that followed, two more victims passed away from injuries sustained in the hospital, while a significant number of others sustained injuries.

Scott wrote on social media after the tragic events of the previous evening, “I am profoundly devastated by what transpired.” “All individuals and families affected by the events that transpired at Astroworld Festival have my deepest condolences.”

Scott stated in a recent interview with GQ: “When you make music, you concentrate on things that occur in your life and contemplate life’s events. “The repercussions of that moment on families and the city were, indeed, catastrophic.”

Scott reiterated that he was “completely devastated” and admitted that the incident continues to trouble him: “It is true; I cannot stop thinking about it. I considered those followers to be family. I can assure you that I adore my followers. There are times when the situation becomes strenuous, and indeed…. You simply feel sorry for those individuals. Additionally, their families.”

It was reported earlier this month that Scott was the subject of an additional lawsuit regarding the Astroworld catastrophe.

Notwithstanding the June ruling of a grand jury in which criminal charges against Scott were not brought and the Texas police’s 1,266-page investigation report into the festival, a multitude of lawsuits continue to be pursued in connection with the incident.
