According to the LA Times, record producer, occasional actor, and founder of the Sean Jean clothing line Diddy, aka Sean Combs, recently spent $39 million on a brand-new, 17,000-square-foot estate in Holmby Hills (actually, they sаy it was $40 million, but Blockshopper says otherwise). Known for his extravagant designs (operating room?), spec megamansion king Nile Niami built and sold the two-story “European-style” house. The house didn’t have time to go on the market when Diddy bought it in an off-market transaction after construction was completed earlier this year.

There’s an underwater tube connecting the pool and grotto, a 35-seat theater, a wine room, and an on-site “steam room, massage room, and beauty salon” as well, all according to TMZ. Diddy’s new address will put him next door to the notorious The Manor and the Playboy Mansion, which both have climate-controlled attics the same size as Diddy’s new residence.
