This year, A$AP Rocky celebrated Thanksgiving by assisting those less fortunate than himself in New York City.

The 33-year-old returned to his hometown of Harlem to feed the hungry at the Volunteers Of America family residence.

He was seen posing with admirers behind the buffet while assisting the group, which focuses on homeless youngsters.

During his shift, he was able to have his own Thanksgiving dinner, fixing himself a plate and chowing down.

Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, was born in Harlem but moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania when he was nine years old.

He has recently made news for his high-profile connection with Rihanna, who, like Rocky’s father, is from Barbados.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have known each other for a long time, and he even opened for her on her Diamonds World Tour in 2013.
