DJ Khaled, who used to be on the cover of GQ, put out his first album with the Italian fashion house Dolce & Gabbana in March. His collection was influenced by Miami, where he lives now. The collection had both designs with palm trees and ones that looked like they were from South Beach. Fans will be able to get the Palestinian DJ’s second release with the Italian label in June.
The fresh new collection comes out just in time for summer and has bright designs in strong colors. DJ Khaled says that this collection was influenced by music, nature, and the foods of the Mediterranean. The group as a whole makes me think of summer. The drop has items for all fans, big and small. There are items for men, women, kids, and even newborn babies.
Now comes the important part: the specifics. The new collection is mostly made up of two styles. The first one has a blue ocean pattern that looks like it came from the Caribbean Sea. It has green plants and pink flamingos all over it. That is, your ideal summer getaway on fabric. The second version has a lot of yellow, two shades of purple, and butterflies of different colors. Just as we thought, both collections have D&G’s signature leopard print features.
DJ Khaled has said that working with Stefano and Domenico has been “a lifelong dream” of his, and now he has not only one collection lined up but two. He also wore pieces from the D&G collaboration on the cover of his most recent album as a nod to the relationship. Could this mean that they will work together again?
