Trippie Redd has achieved yet another professional milestone: he has been acknowledged for his achievements by one of the world’s most prestigious business periodicals.
The Ohio native was one of the many bright brains included on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 class of 2024, which was released earlier this week.
He used social media on Wednesday, November 29, to post a screenshot of the article that highlights his victories. He gave credit to Young Thug, Lil Wayne, and XXXTENTACION, three people that inspired him.
He wrote, “Money! The root of all evil ;)” as the Instagram post’s caption. “I just want to thank the artist that inspired me to make my family rich, @thuggerthugger1 @liltunechi @xxxtentacion. I’m not a lien, I’m a lion [lion emoji] king [crown emoji].””
Trippie Redd postponed a chance to increase his wealth earlier this year, but he later disclosed the incredible rationale for his choice.
Trippie had planned to embark on a cross-country journey as part of his Take Me Away Tour, but he abruptly called it quits earlier this year.
On November 12, the Ohio rapper addressed all of the confusion on his Instagram Story. He explained that his fatherly responsibilities demanded that the tour not proceed.
You folks have been discussing my tour cancellation and its reasons. “Boom, you want an explanation,” Trippie exclaimed. “You know I’m releasing a project called Saint Michael? What if I told you that’s the name of my son and I had to postpone our vacation in order to give birth to my child?
“Life is life-giving,” he continued. “You’re sitting there criticizing me and making all these absurd comments. You know, even while I’m just bringing my child into the world?
The youngster was then shared to Trippie’s Instagram Story, giving fans a first look at his baby boy. Saint Michael White is the child’s name, which corresponds with the rapper’s latest EP’s title.
Arriving on November 10th, Saint Michael is feature-free throughout all seven tracks.
Due to their summertime breakup, Trippie and his fiancée Skye Morales’ identity as the child’s mother is still unknown.
