KENDRICK LAMAR spends $8 million to buy a NEW LUXURY PENTHOUSE IN BROOKLYN

With the closing of the Brooklyn penthouse deal, Kendrick Lamar’s residential freedom is now coast to coast.

The New York Times revealed on Friday, December 1, that K-Dot has formally acquired a residence in a 106-unit Brooklyn Heights condominium close to the seaside.

After months of looking around the city, the Compton native reportedly paid $8.6 million for the condo in New York City. The 3,140 square foot new home of the 36-year-old MC has four bedrooms and three and a half baths.

More modestly, Scar Lip just bought her first home as her career has been booming ever since the release of her breakthrough single, “This Is New York,” earlier this year. Early in October, the Bronx native took to Instagram to reminisce on her modest origins and proudly show off her new home.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell, Ginuwine, Busta Rhymes, and many others were among her many well-wishers.

“Amazing young lady,” Busta commented. “You have only just begun! I’m really proud of you; keep moving forward on your fortunate path. Queen, we are at your side!
