Just over a week after the Terror Squad member’s deаth from a fatal heart аttаck at the age of 52, DJ Khaled and Fаt Joe attended rapper Raul Conde’s funeral on Monday at a Coral Gables, Florida cemetery.
The 48-year-old DJ Khaled was dressed entirely in black, including a short-sleeved button-up shirt, black leggings, sneakers, and sunglasses. He was observed conversing with other mourners and sitting next to 53-year-old Fаt Joe during the solemn events.
According to a post DJ Khaled shared on Instagram, the funeral viewing was conducted at Van Orsdel Family Funeral Chapels in Coral Gables, and the burial was held at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn North in Miami. The picture was captioned “Love you, brother” by him.
Additionally, he shared a picture of a number of enormous flower tributes to Conde, one of which bore the Terror Squad’s initials, TS.
Producer Scott Storch, 49, and rapper Noreaga, 46, were among the other well-known figures there.

“How can a man love another man more than his biological family?” was my first thought. You are the most devoted person ever. Joe stated, “I love you with every fiber in my body. We did everything we dreamed of since we were little.”
Since its founding in 1998, Conde had been a part of Fаt Joe’s Bronx-based rap group Terror Squad.
I imagined that when we grew older, we would laugh as we reflected on the good times we shared. You were a gift from God, my brother, and I wish we could have one last conversation. No one understood me like you.
“My deepest sympathies to the CONDE FAMILY for granting us RAUL over the years. I promise that there will never be a time in my life when I won’t treasure and love every minute I’ve spent with RAUL,” the Lean Back rapper continued.
Former Love & Hip-Hop: New York star Erica Mena, who had a child named King with the deceased Terror Squad member, was also in grief for Conde. Mena shared a picture of Conde and their son together on her Instagram account. With a sad heart, her son, she captioned the photo. Life is really brief. Love your people, please.
Joe shared a ton of pictures in his condolences, showing how close the two had been all these years.
Conde was also well-known for his video directing skills; he directed the music video for both Take Me Home and Fаt Joe’s crossover Һit Lean Back. Conde also directed the music video for the song “Cupcakin” by Lupe Fiasco and MDMA.
Joe said in 1998 that Conde had saved his life after Terror Squad had run across a local mob boss while on the road in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
After a Terror Squad member struck the kingpin during a violent altercation, the group was ambushed by throngs of people inside a club.
“I’m going to walk [out], and when I open the door, this dude is standing in the car’s trunk and pulling out the silver gu𝚗. This is not a joke,” the speaker said. “And then I see Raul TS.” Joe stated on Instagram Live, “Now, Raul got a.22 Derringer, probably the same s**t he had at Morris High School.”
Joey Crаck, a friend of the two, responded.
‘Now that all eight of us are in line with Raul’s.22, he orders me to stand behind him. We managed to carjack two guys, pulled them out, and then we suԀԀenly leaped into the wҺip. Crаck exclaimed, “We get the out of there.”
Conde, a native of the Bronx, went to the notorious Morris High School in the Bronx with Fаt Joe. He had been a resident of Miami at the time of his passing. He was an ordained minister, based on his Instagram feed.
Conde and DJ Khaled were also tight.

“Crаzy,” rapper French Montana continued. That guy who holds your head cracks me up.
Apart from music, Conde was also the driving force behind a tequila brand promoted by Scott Disick of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
King, the son of reality star Erica Mena and Conde, was born in 2007. With her ex-husband, Love and Hip-Hop: New York star Safaree Samuels, Mena has two younger children.

Erica Mena said in an Instagram post that her son’s heart is broken in the wake of Conde’s deathIn 2023, Mena lost her job on the show over allegations that she had uttered a racial slur.
A video that showed Mena attacking Conde went viral in 2010. Mena went on to publicly accuse Conde of physically abusing her throughout their relationship at a 2013 demonstration to raise awareness of domestic abuse after the video went viral.
She shared a picture of the pair taking their son to a Miami Heat game, giving the impression that the couple had moved past their issues a year later.
“The cоnflict has ended,” she captioned the photo.
