Offset and Cardi B appear to have reached a difficult phase.
The rappers have unfollowed one another on Instagram since their September 2017 wedding.
The 31-year-old hitmaker of “Bodak Yellow” also posted some mysterious words on her Instagram Story on Monday.
On one slide, she wrote, “You know when you just out grow [sic] relationships,” and then, “I’m tired of protecting peoples [sic] feelings.”You have to put yourself first.
In the meantime, the 31-year-old member of Migos posted a clip of Al Pacino’s “Scarface” character yelling, “Hey, f—k you, man! Who assembled this? Me! In whom do I have faith? Me!
Page Six’s attempts for comment were not immediately answered by the pair’s representatives.
Cardi debuted on the runway this past weekend at Balenciaga’s fall 2024 show in Los Angeles, where she was observed by a number of celebrities.
Her husband, however, was conspicuously missing.
Nonetheless, the “Bad and Boujee” singer made sure his spouse had a lavish 31st birthday celebration in October by showering her with roughly $500k worth of Hermès purses.
The turbulent pair gained media attention in June when Offset claimed that Cardi, with whom he has a 5-year-old daughter named Kulture and a 2-year-old son named Wave, had cheated on him.
He said on his Instagram Story, “My wife f—ked a N—a on me gang yall n—as know how I come.”
She used Twitter Spaces to refute the accusation at the time.
“Let me say first things first,” Cardi started singing. “You cannot hold me accountable for all you know you have done wrong. Come on, sing it with me! And I understand how simple it is for you to hold me responsible for everything. Indeed, my dear!
“Listen,” she said again, addressing her audience squarely. “You guys shouldn’t listen to that country man.”
Offset was “spiraling and thinking s—t,” according to the “Money” chart-topper, but that wasn’t the case.
“Now, hurry up. My name is Cardi B, n—a. “I think motherf—kers forget who I am sometimes,” Cardi B remarked. “I would be giving this p—y out to someone else. I’m not simply anyone.
The Grammy winner clarified that because he would “tell the world,” she is not in a position to meet up with a “regular degular shmegular” person.
However, she contended that she is unable to have a sexual relationship with someone “in the industry” since they would “tell, too.”
Cardi addressed the musician of “Walk It Talk It” directly and insisted that he “stop acting stupid” and “playing.”
The month after, Offset acknowledged that he had lied when he said she had cheated on him.
He admitted to being “really lit” on tequila when he and Cardi, whom he called a “pitbull at the mouth,” got into a fight, according to Angela Yee on her “Way Up” podcast.
He continued, “We’re going back and forth, and I’m like, ‘Watch this,'” alluding to the critical Instagram Story that he quickly removed.
He then on, “She got a crazy mouth, but at the end of the day, I love my wife.” “Dude, she’s crazy.”
Additionally, he clarified that “the delete [was] enough” and that he didn’t feel the need to refute the charge on social media.
He continued, “In the end, those people don’t really know what’s going on with us, for real.”
The two subsequently worked together on a song called “Jealousy,” which made reference to the public altercation in both the lyrics and the music video.
