Dоnald Trump allegedly threatened trade sanctions against Sweden in retaliation for the detention of A$AP Rocky in 2019.

TMZ published an article on Friday, July 1, in which it claimed that Morgan Johansson, the justice minister of Sweden, had commented on his purported interactions with former President Dоnald Trump. The report states that Trump threatened trade sanctions against the European nation if the Harlem, New York rapper was not released from prison.

“If you can try and do something like this against Sweden, what will you then try and do to slightly weaker countries that don’t have the European Union behind them?” What Johansson purportedly said regarding Trump’s purported use of coercion.

As previously documented, A$AP Rocky was apprehended in July 2019 on suspicion of аssаult subsequent to the release of video footage depicting the rapper and his entourage engaging in an altercation with a man during their tour in Sweden.  The incident gained global attention following Rocky’s apprehension without bond, which prompted Trump to intervene and exert his influence.
