Rapper Cardi B confirmed that she broke up with rap star Offset after six years together and had two children.

Cardi B shared on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday night local time: “I’ve been single for a while. I was afraid of not knowing how to talk to people, but I feel like there are appropriate signals today.”

Cardi B’s affections burst out last week when fans discovered the two stars had disabled each other on Instagram. On December 4th, Cardi also shared on Instagram Story some hidden messages about a broken relationship.

During the live announcement, Cardi B confirmed that she has shown signs of breakup on social media. “I’m tired of protecting other people’s feelings. I have to put myself first.”

Cardi B and Offset were married in 2017, having a five-year-old daughter, Kulture, and a two- year-old son, Wave. In October, the rapper was still celebrating her romantic birthday with her husband. She boasts luxury gifts from her husband and the room is filled with roses. The couple just celebrated their 5th anniversary in September.

During her lifetime, Cardi B has been on the brink of a broken marriage. She filed for divorce twice in 2018 and 2020 between rumors of adultery but then withdrew.
