Female rapper Cardi B confirmed that she broke up with rap star Offset after 6 years of marriage and two children.

“I’ve been single for a while now,” Cardi B shared on There are appropriate signals today.”

The WAP singer said she wants to start 2024 fresh and open. “I’m curious about a new life, a new beginning. Yes, I’m excited,” Cardi B said.

The annоuncement came after Cardi B and оffset attended the same event Sunday night — the TikTоk In the Mix music festival in Mesa, Arizоna — but did nоt take phоtоs tоgether. Representatives оf bоth are currently nоt respоnding tо the breakup infоrmatiоn.

Suspicion of a rift in Cardi B and her husband’s relationship arose last week when fans discovered that the two stars had unfollowed each other on Instagram. On December 4, Cardi also shared on Instagram Story some hidden messages about a troubled relationship.

During the Live announcing the separation, Cardi B confirmed that she had shown signs of separation on social networks recently. She also confided, “I’m tired of protecting other people’s feelings. I have to put myself first.”

Cardi B and Offset married in 2017 and share 5-year-old daughter Kulture and two-year-old son Wave. In October, the female rapper still celebrated her romantic birthday with her husband. She showed off the luxurious gifts her husband gave her and the room filled with roses. The couple also just celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in September.

During their time together, Cardi B and her husband were on the brink of marriage breakdown many times. She filed for divorce twice in 2018 and 2020 amid rumors of her husband’s affair but then withdrew the application.
