Rap star Christian Combs is following Diddy’s path, is he going to be a second Diddy in the future?

Like dad, son. The rapper, producer, and record executive Diddy and his son King Combs love music and producing.

Billboard interviewed the two on their music and how Combs, 24, is continuing his father’s legacy.

Diddy said Christian Combs wanted to keep Bad Boy Entertainment going even when it was on sabbatical.

“I stopped Bad Boy. Sometimes you have to quit a hot game. “Streaming changed everything,” he said. “He had a Bad Boy chain when I woke up. ‘Bro, Bad Boy is on pause for a second.’ He’s sustaining Bad Boy and elevating it without my guidance.”

Diddy denied Kim Porter’s advise and did not help Combs in the music industry. Billboard reported that Combs realized that Diddy “wasn’t going to help me give me no producer help, writer help, because he didn’t want me to ever have to lean on him or depend on him.”
Teyana Taylor, Kodak Black, and others have collaborated with Combs, proving his hard work pays off. His single “Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.” topped Billboard’s Mainstream R&B Hip-Hop Airplay list.

New music from him and his father is planned for 2023.
