Jay-Z ‘plotting to buy Tottenham in stunning £2.2bn takeover’ after Joe Lewis fraud arrest

It has been reported that the American rapper Jay-Z is planning to purchase Tottenham in a staggering takeover deal for £2.2 billion.

The Spurs billionaire Joe Lewis entered a plea of not guilty to allegations of insider trading, which led to this development.

Jay-Z is reportedly plotting a £2billion takeover of Tottenham

The 86-year-old individual, who is controlled by a family trust that owns the majority of Spurs, showed up in court on Wednesday after surrendering to the United States authorities in Manhattan.

On the basis of a bail of three hundred million dollars, which was guaranteed by his boat and private aircraft, Lewis was released.

To add insult to injury, the Express reports that Jay-Z, who is married to the pop superstar Beyonce, is currently preparing an extraordinary offer for Tottenham.

It is estimated that the rapper, who is 53 years old, has earned a personal net worth of 1.95 billion pounds, and that his wife is worth an additional 420 million pounds.

Just over two billion pounds is the estimated value of Tottenham.

And Jay-Z, who is already a co-owner of the Nashville Nets of the National Basketball Association, is prepared to take the helm of a group of investors while they wait for the verdict in the case against Lewis.

The shocking connections emerge after Beyonce performed as the headlining act at a series of concerts held at Spurs’ stadium recently.

The following statement was made by a member of Jay-Z’s inner circle to the Express: “More than a few of the very top clubs there, such as Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea, are now under US ownership, and Jay would jump at the chance of a controlling interest at board level somewhere with the global reach of Spurs.”

It is not yet clear whether Mr. Lewis will be able to escape without any consequences. In the event that he does not, Jay has stated that he would like to be in a position to move swiftly if he views the price as being appropriate.

According to him, this is something that can be accomplished, particularly with the support of other investors.

It is not the first time that Jay-Z has been mentioned in connection with the possibility of investing in a Premier League team.

Thirteen years ago, it was reported that he indicated an interest in becoming a major investor at Arsenal.

According to rumors, Jay-Z thinks Thierry Henry is his favorite football player.

And when his attempts were failed, he was cited as saying at the time, “I don’t know a lot about the business of soccer but in the future, if the right opportunity presented itself, then who knows?” His statement was made after his efforts were unsuccessful.

According to The Express, representatives for both Lewis and Jay-Z declined to comment on the future of the Spurs’ ownership during the interview.
