Several Red Sox players stopped by nightclub The Grand to watch Rick Ross perform and take photos with the World Series trophy during the Seaport spot’s one-year anniversary party after bringing it out for a brief midcourt ceremony during Thursday night’s Boston Celtics game.

Sox players Matt Barnes, J.D. Martinez, Rick Porcello, Bobby Poyner, David Price, Chris Sale, and Blake Swihart attended, as did Celtics forward Jaylen Brown, who missed the team’s 117-113 win over the Milwaukee Bucks due to a painful foot.

Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck, Red Sox chairman Tom Werner, and Red Sox owner John Henry (who owns Boston Globe Media Partners) also visited the club.

With the World Series trophy in the DJ booth, Ross performed “Hustlin’,” “Pop That,” “Trap Trap Trap,” and “I’m on One.” Before starting “All I Do Is Win,” his DJ Khaled collaboration, he gave a lengthy shout-out to the squad.

That music played during Sox players’ champagne-soaked celebration at Icon Nightclub earlier this week. The Grand also exploded 100 bottles of Belaire champagne on Thursday after replaying Game 5’s final on its 70-foot LED wall.
