Following Jay-Z and Kanye West, Sean “Diddy” Combs was believed to have become Hip-Hop’s third billionaire in October 2022.
The “biggest boss” now plans to add his name to the list as soon as possible. Rick Ross revealed the timetable he has set for himself to become a billionaire on Instagram Stories.
In the video, Ross uttered the words, “We racin’ to a billion, n—a.” “I have a year away.”
The rapper-turned-businessman has been making incredible business decisions in addition to releasing hits. He has made investments in real estate, cannabis, restaurants, healthcare, and other industries throughout the years, as AFROTECH has previously reported. Among the endeavors is the acquisition of around thirty Wingstop outlets.
“I knew this was a franchise I wanted to add to my investments after tasting Wingstop’s signature Lemon Pepper-flavored wings in Miami,” Ross said in a press release.
He apparently earns an estimated $200,000 per year from the properties and is able to create jobs.
“We are bringing in the food I like and adding jobs to the community with Wingstop,” he declared upon launching his first Wingstop location in Memphis, Tennessee. “There are two wins.”
Ross stopped short of becoming a billionaire earlier in November 2023 to visit Austin, Texas. Ross headlined AFROTECH Music on November 4, 2023, to cap up the AFROTECH Conference. Other performers were DJ Spinderella, Saweetie, Jadakiss, Joe Kay of Soulection, and DJ Hunnybee.
According to Ross, performing as the main act at the AFROTECH Conference is more than simply a show for him. It’s a chance to motivate the upcoming generation of entrepreneurs, inventors, and hustlers. It’s an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of perseverance, hard effort, and keeping true to your goals.
There’s a method to make sure you don’t miss out on the musical experience at the AFROTECH Conference the following year if you didn’t this year. The 2024 AFROTECH Conference will take place in Houston, Texas, and tickets are available online for a discounted early bird rate.
