Halle Bailey and DDG’s newborn baby boy, shares first photo after secret pregnancy

Halle Bailey is the proud mother of her first-born child.

The “Little Mermaid” actress shared an Instagram photo of herself cradling her son Halo on Saturday night to commemorate the birth of her son. The post bore the name Halo.

“Halo” was engraved in gold and affixed to the infant’s forearm to verify his name.

“The best thing that 2023 could have done for me, even though it’s only a few days into the new year, was bring my son into the world. Welcome to the world, my halo 👰👟👎 ⟯.” she exclaimed in the caption.

“Everyone is in great desire to get to know you.”

Page Six has requested comment from Bailey’s representatives.

Rapper DDG, her longstanding boyfriend, also posted the momentous announcement to Instagram with the identical image.

“My greatest blessing by far is my son, my baby halo,” he exclaimed in the caption. “I have never been more in love.”

Despite months of speculation, the actress never affirmed her pregnancy; thus, the lighthearted remark at the conclusion of her announcement.

She even instructed followers to “leave [her] alone” in a November 2023 social media video in response to a remark that she had “pregnancy nose.”

Bailey, age 23, defied the forecasts when she attended the MTV VMAs in September 2023 while adorned in an asymmetrical orange gown that concealed her waistline.

“Halle avoided being photographed by avoiding the pink carpet, and when she was inside, she was extremely circumspect about who she hugged and how she did so,” an insider told Page Six at the time.

“Her orange dress flow indicated that she was concealing something,” the source continued. “When someone approached her too closely, she maintained her distance, and she extended more handshakes than her customary long embraces.”

On Twitter, social media users speculated regarding the ensemble selection.

One fan tweeted, “It’s none of our business, but that dress… made it too obvious,” in reference to the halter gown worn by the singer and sister Chloe Bailey while they presented an award onstage.

She was criticized by others for allegedly altering Instagram photos of the group.
