This month, the Hip Hop Til Infinity show, coming to Los Angeles, will feature an extensive retrospective of Snoop Dogg’s career spanning several decades.

The entertainment company’s Hip Hop Til Infinity project, which began in New York City in 2023 as part of Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50 festivities, will now make its debut on Friday, January 12, at the Amoeba Store on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. The show, which runs through the middle of March, takes visitors on a journey through the last 50 years of hip-hop through a variety of objects. Interactive programming will also be offered, such as seminars, live panel discussions, listening parties, and more.

The museum is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Doggystyle by showcasing unique relics from Snoop as part of its West Coast trip. Additionally, the gift store will sell special Doggystyle and Deаth Row items.

Snoop claimed in a statement that “West Coast rap is integral to the story of Hip Hop.” The genre originated in the East Coast and traveled to California, where we gave it our own unique twist. It’s awesome to see the Hip Hop Til Infinity display honoring 50 years of hip hop, and it’s extra great to have a section dedicated to 30 years of Doggystyle.

In addition to Snoop Dogg, the exhibition will include rare and collectible artifacts from the late Nipsey Hussle, Delicious Vinyl, radio station KDAY, and other notable figures from the West. The Hip Hop Til Infinity store will also be open for attendees to peruse. This will feature a vast array of carefully chosen recordings from artists like Snoop Dogg, E-40, DJ Shadow, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, and De La Soul, as well as sculptures by Concrete Jungle, collections by Wu-Wear Clothing, The Marathon Clothing, and more.

Since his Long Beach debut many years ago, Snoop Dogg’s career has taken him to incredible heights. He will soon be a part of NBCUniversal’s coverage of the Olympic Summer Games in Paris in 2024.

The news was made on New Year’s Eve when the late rapper featured among a number of Olympians in a promo film that aired during Sunday Night Football’s game between the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers.

Snoop will discuss his “unique take” on the events in Paris with NBC Olympics anchor Mike Tirico, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Along with the Olympic games and festivities, he plans to “explore the city’s iconic landmarks and make visits to the athletes, their friends, and families.”

NBC and Peacock will broadcast live coverage of the 2024 Summer Olympics from July 26 to August 11.
