SNOOP DOGG’S WEST COAST DEBUT OF POPULAR EXHIBIT WILL BE ‘HIP HOP TIL INFINITY’

This month, the Hip Hop Til Infinity show, coming to Los Angeles, will feature an extensive retrospective of Snoop Dogg’s career spanning several decades.

The entertainment company’s Hip Hop Til Infinity project, which began in New York City in 2023 as part of Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50 festivities, will now make its debut on Friday, January 12, at the Amoeba Store on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles. The show, which runs through the middle of March, takes visitors on a journey through the last 50 years of hip-hop through a variety of objects. Interactive programming will also be offered, such as seminars, live panel discussions, listening parties, and more.

Snoop claimed in a statement that “West Coast rap is integral to the story of Hip Hop.” The genre originated in the East Coast and traveled to California, where we gave it our own unique twist. It’s awesome to see the Hip Hop Til Infinity display honoring 50 years of hip hop, and it’s extra great to have a section dedicated to 30 years of Doggystyle.

The Hip Hop Til Infinity store will also be open for attendees to peruse. This will feature a vast array of carefully chosen recordings from artists like Snoop Dogg, E-40, DJ Shadow, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, and De La Soul, as well as sculptures by Concrete Jungle, collections by Wu-Wear Clothing, The Marathon Clothing, and more.
