Cardi B recently flaunted her August facial tattoo.

The “WAP” rapper first mentioned getting her kid Wave’s name permanently inscribed on her face back in January. Strange, but I’m 1% of the way to getting my son’s name tattooed on my face.She tweeted at the time, “I really really wanna do it,” expressing her desire to get the tattoo on her jaw. It was unclear, though, if she had altered her mind about what the face tattoo would actually be by the time she actually pulled the trigger in August.

Around that time, a TikTok video went viral, purportedly showing Cardi B getting a red ink tattoo of the letter “N” on her jaw. Even less obvious was the end product, which was revealed on a fan’s Instagram page. But in an Instagram Live video from September, Cardi B revealed that she had her son’s name inked on her face. She said, “I tatted my son’s name because I love him,” and then she revealed the “Kulture” bicep tattoo. “And I tatted my daughter’s name,” she continued.

Cardi B finally shared a good picture of her ultralong lavender manicure and the fully healed reddish-brown “Wave” tattoo on her jawline on November 17.
