This weekend, Puff Daddy’s historic Bad Boy reunion concert is scheduled to take place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. However, one of the label’s former musicians is curious as to where his invitation went. In the interim between Bad Boy’s golden age—which the show is truly honoring—and its current lineup, which is helmed by French Montana, Diddy attempted to rekindle his magic by putting together bands on MTV’s Making the Band, forming Day 26, Danity Kane, and Da Band, but he was not quite successful.
Day 26 member Brian Angel (second from left in the top photo) is questioning why he and his bandmates aren’t included in the Bad Boy reunion event, which is growing into a full-fledged tour.
“With all due respect I’m tryna figure out @iamdiddy how can you have a BAD BOY reunion and me and Bros @Day26 aren’t apart of it bro?” He posted on Twitter into Tuesday morning on Monday, May 16. “I occasionally find myself in crazy situations due to my passion for music and our fans.” However, I must speak up since @iamdiddy @officialDay26 @day26 are curious. I refuse to remain silent and let this chance pass, @imdiddy. All I want to know, buddy. If this question is inappropriate, kindly let me know, but why is it that @Day26Official no on the Bad Boy tour @iamdiddy? Our fans want to know.”
