Jamie Foxx said he hosted a $400 party to demonstrate to Diddy how to throw a good time on a tight budget

Jamie Foxx recently discussed how she taught Diddy how to throw inexpensive parties during an interview with Stephen Colbert on The Late Show. With Foxx pretending to be the mogul of Bad Boy Records’ cameraman, the two had an unusual beginning to their connection. They began going to parties together at some of Diddy’s events.

“Yo playboy, this party costs a million and a half dollars,” he exclaimed after throwing a party. “You are insane,” I think to myself,” he exclaimed. “I told Puff that for 400 dollars, I could throw a party that would rival this one.” Diddy was informed by Foxx, and while he initially appeared a little irritated, he eventually agreed the following time he was in Los Angeles. Upon Diddy’s arrival in Los Angeles, Foxx was instructed to “make it happen.” Foxx went on to claim that he would invite “200 of the coolest people” he knew to the celebration.

“Look over there at the dinner table, puff. I got Kentucky Fried Chicken,” I remarked. I arranged it on a pretty dish.I purchased Coca-Cola. I filled a pitcher with it. We are killing it right now at $208,” Foxx remarked.

Foxx is well-known for throwing numerous house parties in the past with a clear objective in mind. “I had a studio in my house because [Diddy] was so famous in music, and I would throw parties for a reason because I was trying to get in music at that time,” he claimed.

It was all worthwhile, of course, because Foxx would move from acting to music and win multiple prizes.
