The US leg of his wildly popular Magna Carter World Tour comes to a close this month.

Rapper Jay Z, though, seemed to be getting into the party spirit early.

 

 

On New Year’s Day, the Hard Knock Life singer was spotted having fun with a number of famous friends at a tour after party at Story in Florida, which was sponsored by Jay and D’usse cognac.

But Beyoncé Knowles, his wife, was not there. She was probably too busy promoting her new album of the same name and taking care of their newborn Blue Ivy.

 

 

Jay posed with friends Pharell Williams and rapper Diddy, who appeared to be having a great time while brandishing two alcohol bottles.

Michael Bay, a Hollywood director, also showed up and spoke with Pharrell over the evening.
